CAMM CUPSTOCK.
REPLACING SINGLE-USE-PLASTICS.
I am truly eco-friendly
I am designed with environmental responsibility and human health in mind. Did you know that drinking a hot coffee in a conventional plastic coated paper cup releases 10,000 microplastic particles? My eco-friendly CAMM Aquashield coating protects you from microplastic intrusion. In addition, I am home compostable and therefore ensure that I do not harm the environment, animals or human beings if I leave the cycle.
I protect what is inside
My product range includes beverage cups, to-go food containers, and ice cream packaging. I am made from responsibly sourced paper that is fully functional thanks to my CAMM Aquashield coating. One side of my coating is water-soluble, while the other side is water- and grease-resistant. This allows me to hold your drink or food effectively and ensure that every sip, bite, and scoop retains its great taste.
I am made for paper recycling
The water-soluble side of my CAMM Aquashield coating ensures effortlessly removal from the paper base when water is added in the paper recycling process – enabling high quality recycling of the paper fibers.

THE CAMM AQUASHIELD TECHNOLOGY
A REMOVABLE WATER AND GREASE PROTECTION FOR PAPER AND CARDBOARD
A growing number of single-use products are made of paper with a plastic-based liner or coating that helps prevent leaking and retain heat or cold for the food content. Typically, the liner is made of polyethylene (PE), which is an obstacle to widespread recyclability. Today the vast majority of PE coated cupstock products ends up in landfills, wasting valuable resources.
For a proper recycling process, the protection layers need to be removed from the paper substrate to release high-quality cellulosic material. However, the coating is usually bound to it. CAMM Aquashield takes over this job as water and grease protection layer. At the same time, it can easily be removed in mainstream paper recycling processes.
One side of CAMM Aquashield is water-soluble, while the other side is water-resistant. This dual functionality ensures that contents are protected by the water-resistant side, while the water-soluble side enables high quality recycling of the paper fibers without leaving harmful residues, such as microplastics, in the recycling process.
