I recycle easily. The unique combination of my fast dissolving and biodegrading CAMM material with paper provides complete recycling of > 99% of my paper fibres. In the paper recycling process, my CAMM sealing and barrier layers are washed away leaving no harmful traces such as microplastics behind. This ensures that the paper recycling process remains uninterrupted and recycled is free of plastic contaminants.
I love heavy weight and stay in shape
I am much stronger than a conventional plastic air pillow. I resist heavy loads up to 50kgs and enable products to be packed and shipped safely. I provide maximum functional performance while using as little material as possible. I deform elastically, adapting to changing loads, while other solutions deform plastically, creating space for movement of packed goods.
I am full of air and light as a feather
To fill a standard shipping carton (measuring 600 x 300 x 300 mm) with three different types of void fill systems, we quantified the weight of the different filling materials. I have as little as 10% of the weight of paper filling solutions.
